INDOT extended forecast

FORECAST UPDATED: 2:00 pm EST Monday January 27, 2014 by Allison Streeter (astreete@purdue.edu)

Summary: Temperatures warming up to average, possible precipitation this weekend.

Thursday's temperatures should be in the 20s, which will be the beginning of temperatures being closer to average for this time of year over the weekend. A cold front will be moving in early Friday, bringing low pressure into the area for the weekend. This will create a chance of precipitation during the weekend, with precipitation likely both Friday and Saturday. Current models suggest that this precipitation occur as 3 to 4 inches of snow; however, slight changes in the temperature could change this snow into a mix of winter precipitation.
