Streeter Practice INDOT Forecast

Summary: 

There is a good chance of light snow, around an inch with some areas locally higher, throughout the state for Friday. Temperatures should drop throughout the day, making conditions favorable for snow to fall and remain on the surface. Also, increasing winds may lead to some blowing of snow across the roads.
 

La Porte district forecast/discussion

The La Porte district will likely see snow in the afternoon/evening, with around 1 inch of accumulation; it’s possible some areas could see slightly higher totals due to moisture from the Great Lakes.



Fort Wayne district forecast/discussion

The Fort Wayne district will likely see snow in the afternoon/evening, with around 1 inch of accumulation.



Crawfordsville district forecast/discussion

The Crawfordsville district will likely see snow in the afternoon/evening, with around 1 inch of accumulation.



Greenfield district forecast/discussion

The Greenfield district will likely see snow showers throughout the day, with around 1-3 inches of accumulation.



Vincennes district forecast/discussion

The Vincennes district will likely see some snow; however, totals will likely be light due to slightly higher temperatures than the rest of the state during the time that the moisture moves in.



Seymour district forecast/discussion


The Seymour district will likely see a light accumulation of snow throughout the day.
