Conditions will remain warm and dry in the Lafayette area due to a large high pressure system that is and will remain in place for the next couple of days. 



In the Northwest, storms are building in the low pressure zone shown above. Below, an infrared satellite image shows the most active areas highlighted in blue. These highlighted areas correspond to the tallest and most energetic clouds present.
