October 12 short-range Palac

Forecast updated 1:30pm EST - 12 Oct 2011

We have a cold front moving into our area as early as tonight.  The best chance for rain
in the West Lafayette area is thursday mid afternoon and into Thursday night.  Rain should be mostly
light with pockets of heavier precip around dinner.

The image below is a snap shot of the front at 8pm Thursday night.

Temperatures should remain in the lower 70's tomorrow.  Once the front passes friday morning,
temperatures should drop to the mid 60's, which is more typical this time of year.

Friday looks pretty clear with cooler temperature but windy.  Winds are expected to reach 20 mph!
