Woznicki - Short Range 10/28

Forecast updated 12:50pm EST - 28 Oct 2011

The weekend looks to be relatively quiet over the Midwestern United States until a clipper system sweeps through into Sunday night.  Temperatures look to be in the low to mid 50s for the Purdue area.  The big weather story for the weekend is the Nor'Easter moving up the upper east coast.  The system looks to dump most of its snow on Saturday, with totals reaching 6-10" in some areas.

850 mb temperatures support the snowfall associated with the Nor'Easter, and the clipper system that will affect the midwest brings slightly colder values (below 0 Celsius in some places).
