Forecast updated 2:00pm EDT - 21 September 2012

Here in Lafayette, we can expect chances for rain on two occasions this weekend.  The first chance will occur
this afternoon, beginning late this afternoon/ early evening, and continuing until midnight or so.  The second chance
for rain will take place tomorrow (Saturday) during the morning and afternoon hours.  Rainfall totals for the weekend
should be around half an inch for our area.
A high temperature of 70 can be expected today, but cooler air will move into the region tomorrow.  When combined
with the cooling effect of the rain, temperatures will struggle to reach 60.  After the front moves through, high pressure
will build into the region, bringing clear skies for Sunday, but with a high of only 60 or so.
