Aug 31 Extended Outlook

Looking forward towards the beginning of the work week, remnants of Isaac may still bring a chance of precipitation in the region on Monday morning. By Tuesday, and as the week progresses, the associated low pressure system will move north-eastward into the eastern Great Lakes region, bringing rainfall totals in New England around 2 or more inches of rain by Friday.

An advancing cold front will move south-eastward through our region on Wednesday and Thursday, with that another comes chance of precipitation. By Friday, high pressure will dominate the area, with clear skies bringing in the weekend.
