The main weather story right now is that Hurricane Isaac made landfall yesterday.  As you can see with the radar below, there is no other weather systems affecting the area.  Through the next few days, Isaac is expected to continue
Isaac is expected to continue north through Louisiana, Arkansas, and Missouri.  The National Hurricane Center is expecting Isaac to weaken into a tropical storm either later today or early tomorrow.  By Thursday afternoon to early Friday, it is expected to be a depression. The major issue with Isaac is going to be the flooding from the heavy rainfall amounts.  The final image is from the GFS which is showing the 48 hour precipitation.
