Oct. 12, 2012 Short range (homecoming outlook)

Purdue's homecoming football game tomorrow at noon does not look to be significantly affected by the chances of thunderstorms that will come into play later Saturday and into Sunday. GFS and NAM disagree on the timing with the GFS showing more threat of rain by the end of gametime. That said, winds may increase and become more westerly as the game progresses if they have not already. The precipitation chances that come into play are associated with the low pressure system moving in from the northwest. There is PVA associated with the timing of the most intense precipitation  for our area on Sunday.
