Short Term Discussion 9/17

We should expect to see precipitation within the next 48 hours.  As shown by the figure below, rain is expected across the entire state of Indiana by 6Z on Sept. 18th, which is 2:00 AM local time.  Accompanying the precipitation is a cold front.  After the cold front pushes through, high temperatures will be in the lower 60s, with lows in the upper 30s on Tuesday and Tuesday night.  The remaining of the week should warm up slightly. 

In the west, they are experiencing high pressure systems, leading to warm temperatures and clear skies.
