11 January Current Weather

Currently a low pressure system is affecting the midwest with winter weather advisories.  Figure 1 shows the current radar image for the contiguous United States.  Snow total amounts were predicted between 3-6 inches across central Indiana. Behind the system occurs a cold artic blast. California is currently dealing with scattered rain showers. The yellow lines indicate sea level pressure.
