Analysis valid 1:00pm EST 7 Jan 2011

A small band of lake effect snow was seen earlier today across northern Indiana with a strong vorticy moving off of the lake.
After this small band has moved through we had clear skies and mild temperatures. The next storm to hit us can be seen to our west over Missouri
and Iowa and has colder temperatures associated with it from cold air advection.
