Small shortwave torughs are going to be the main story for the late part of this weekend.  Sunday night, the northwestern and southern states should see precipitation. 
All precipitation will be rain, and the heaviest amounts in northwest Washington and Oregon, over 1" of liquid precipitation.  At this same time there will be fairly high winds.
For the eastern parts of Texas and Oklahoma, and western parts of Louisiana and Arkansas there will be light rain along the shortwave trough.
To the north and east a high pressure system is dominating, and they will have chilly temperatures.
