The first picture shows the temperature at 7pm on Monday night, which in West Lafayette started out at 27 degrees. We had a cold blast from the north which significantly dropped our temperatures throughout the night and into the morning. The second graphic shows this significant decrease with the temperature being 4 degrees in West Lafayette at 11 am on Tuesday. The temperatures were dropping around 1 degree per hour for the last 12 hours due to the cold front that passed. The last graphic shows our precipitiation amounts forecasted by the 00Z GFS run. Total accumulation was around .1 inch of snow and trace amounts of liquid equivalent; which is what was predicted by the GFS run.
