Surface temperatures are highly variable throughout much of the Midwest. Temperatures range from the low 20s to the near 45 degrees Fahrenheit. Cooler areas tend to have snow cover and could help inhibit temperatures from climbing. Warmer temperatures in the south look to advect northward as a warm front delivers precipitation as well as warmer temperatures coming into this weekend.
