Today: The lingering cold front will move towards the south today bringing colder temperatures as high pressure will move into Northern Indiana. This will push rain out of the area this afternoon. Cloudy skies will persist.
Short term: Friday evening rain will move into southern Indiana extending up to central Indiana overnight. Temperatures will hover around freezing resulting in the possibility of sleet or freezing rain Friday night into Saturday. The highest probability for icing is in central Indiana where temperatures will be slightly cooler. Accumulations of 0.1-0.25 inches of ice are possible in these areas.
Long term: Additional bursts of precipitation will continue across the state throughout the weekend, mainly in central and southern Indiana. Temperatures will remain in the 30s with warmer temperatures expected early next week.
