Summary: A cold front moving through the state on Tuesday brings rain and falling temperatures.
Temperatures will start the day warm around 50 degrees and fall as the front pushes through. Air temperatures will fall below freezing during the overnight hours. Any flurries and drizzle that may occur during the day is not expected to stick with ground temperatures well above freezing. Most of the precipitation will remain rain during the day. Tuesday evening brings an issue with chances for freezing drizzle and rain when temperatures start to fall around freezing. Some snow flurries in the northern parts of the state late Tuesday and into Wednesday. The chances for lake effect snow grows as the cold air from the north pushes over warm the lake. Highs for Wednesday will remain in the mid 30s.
