The midwest will continue to see calm mild weather because of a high pressure moving through the area. Mostly clear skies are expected with no snow or rain through Thursday afternoon and into the evening. However, snow is expected late Thursday night and into Friday morning as a low pressure moves through the area. Snow is expected Friday morning and again late Friday afternoon and into the evening.
The southwest will continue to experience a mix of snow, winter mix, and freezing rain as a low pressure continues to push up the east coast. The northern part of Georgia is receiving a mix of sleet, snow, and freezing rain while the southern half of the state is receiving mainly freezing rain.
