For the rest of the day, the weather will remain cold and dry. There is a small chance for light snow early Tuesday morning through the early afternoon Wednesday across mostly central and northern Indiana. Light snow may reach southern Indiana on Wednesday night. The state should remain cold an dry through Friday.
From Tuesday night into Wednesday, storms could develop over the Gulf coast of Texas and Louisiana bringing heavy rain. Also, as a low pressure moves in from the Pacific, heavy rainfall is expected Thursday night in Northern California. Southern California will receive rain in a following system on Friday.
