INDOT Verification for 2/3
The INDOT forecast for yesterday was quite accurate. The forecaster predicted clear skies and cold temperatures throughout the state, with the southeastern portion of the state under a 30% chance risk of winter weather. This proved to be about spot on. Most of the state experienced no snowfall whatsoever, however the southeastern portion did experience some light amounts. Areas close to the Ohio River experienced some minimal amounts during the overnight hours from Sunday into Monday, tapering off in the early morning hours. Besides this, driving/road conditions were optimal considering how tumultuous this winter has been for traveling through Indiana.
