forecast discussion blog for WBAA

Post date: Nov 8, 2013 3:31:57 AM

Whenever you update the WBAA forecasts, enter a new "post" on this page and provide a short discussion of your forecast. What changes did you make to the previous forecast? Why did you make them? What sources of information did you use to help you decide on these changes? What physical reasoning did you use to support your forecast? Include your name. This will be similar to what the NWS does with their AFD (area forecast discussion, by the way, you all should be reading these at least once a day!). If you see something in the WBAA forecast or this blog that you have questions about or decisions that you might disagree with, enter a new "post" and explain why you would change the forecast. Keep it civil & constructive, we are all on the same team, nastiness will be dealt with swiftly by yours truly. However, good forecasters also need to have a "thick skin", we all need to learn how to deal with incorrect forecasts, it's not fun, but it is part of the job.
