Current Weather

Cold temperatures, dry air, and clear skies are being reported throughout most of the state. The northwest portion of the state is still experiencing some strong lake effect snow due to the northerly winds present. The back end of the clipper system is responsible for creating some light snowfall in the southeastern portion of the state. This clipper system is also responsible for the cold air that is advecting into our area from the northwest, as well as providing the lift that allowed for snowfall overnight.
