The Plains are expericening triple digit heat today with the Southeast still expericening upper 90s. Irene has been downgraded to a tropical storm, however flooding is still a major concern for the Northeast. Elsewhere, there is not much rain aside from two clusters of storms near Nebraska and Iowa. The Upper Midwest states are having some nice weather with low to mid 70s across the region.
