October 19th, 2012: 0-2 Day Forecast
Currently, a low pressure system is located over southern Lake Michigan and Michigan, bringing rain to most of Indiana on Friday. As this system moves to the west, it forms Lake Effect Precipitation on Saturday over Northern Indiana, Southwestern Michigan, and most of southern Lake Michigan.
A warm up is coming up through the area on Sunday with Warm Air Advection at the 850mb level right over Indiana as this system continues to push out west with a high pressure to the southeast Sunday evening. The jet stream at the 300mb level will be situated to the north of us, keeping cooler air to the North in Canada for a few days before cooler weather moves into the area again.
