Martin Verification

In calculating the convergence using the Trenberth form of the Q-G omega equation yesterday during the late morning hours throughout the northern half of Indiana and Ohio we came up with a positive value to about 4.14*10*-8 m/s. Looking at the following figure, the convergence value is the shaded regions and one can see that it is indeed close to what was calculated by hand. This convergence shows why there was snow flurries present across our area during this time yesterday.
