Hey guys! It is a wonderful 71 degrees in West Lafayette! Currently in our area there is not much going on as far as storms, but that is a different story in southern Indiana. Around 1:30 pm EST the radar started popping up a strong line of storms across south central Indiana and now it is currently heading off East- Southeast. Currently, as of 2:35 pm EST there are multiple severe thunderstorm Warnings across southern and eastern Indiana. There is also a tornado Warning in Seymour, Indiana. The reason being for these intense storms is a low pressure system accompanied with a cold and warm front, as you can see in the METAR picture. We are also seeing a lot of PVA in our area, but lack on the WAA; with us having more of a zonal wind in our area.
