Forecast verification updated 2:00pm EST - 15 Feb 2011

This is your Valentines Day verification!

Yesterday, high temperatures were forecasted to be in the low 40s throughout central and southern Indiana and high thirties in northern Indiana. There was also talk of the snow melting before the weekend was over, but it can be seen that the snow line still goes through the middle of Indiana.

As you can see, temperatures from several points around Indiana were found and plotted with the maximum forecast temperature from yesterday. There is a disparity of 5-7 degrees Fahrenheit, which is quite substantial for a local forecast.
