Short-term 11/22/16

A low pressure system that currently has its center over Kansas will makes its way into our area early Wednesday morning at 06z. This is evidenced by positive pressure advection reaching the area at that time on the 300 K isentropic surface map, which is indicative of rising motion. The forecast Skew-t for this time also shows that the mid-levels of the atmosphere will be saturated and able to produce rain showers, which should persist the entire duration of Wednesday and end late Wednesday night.
